Simplicity 4726 Vintage Pattern Cross Stitch Color Charts: This envelope contains 8 full-color charts for 13 different designs for cross-stitch embroidery on 1/8" checked gingham. There are several different border designs. Also included are several other motifs of which may used singly or as border designs. These designer and motifs may be worked either on the lengthwise grain or on the crosswise grain of fabric. On the crosswise grain of fabric the checks are a little smaller, therefore the designs and motifs will be a little smaller. The designs are suitable for children's clothes, place mats, curtains, dish towels, table cloths, etc.
Chart 1 - Heart Border; Geometric Border; Walls of Troy Border
Chart 2 - Rose Motif; border and corner.
Chart 3 - Diamond Border.
Chart 4 - Fish Motif. May be used singly or as border.
Tulip Motif. May be used singly or in pairs.
Chart 5 - Daisy Motif. Used singly. Chicken Border.
Chart 6 - Poinsettia Motif. Also may be worked on red and white gingham using same color thread as on chart, working the designs on white checks.
Chart 7 - Paper Doll Border.
Chart 8 - Butterfly Border; Sailor Motif.
