1940's Butterick 4189 Vintage Sewing Pattern Misses' Dance Dress - Basque Bodice: (A) The figure fitting basque bodice has a sweetheart neck and a charming ribbon shoulder strap treatment. Distinctive ribbon bands and bows swirl around the full, flared six-gored skirt. (B) Bare shoulder version has a dainty frill trim.

Bust / Chest: Unknown - The bust is a 30 something, the 3 is left on the envelope, the back of the envelope states this pattern was made with a bust of 30, 32, 34 and a 36. I am sure for an experienced seamstress this will not be a problem.

This pattern is for someone 5 ft. 4 1/2 ins. or shorter.

Envelope condition: Tanned; missing flap, the envelope was brittle around the opening, much of that is broken off, this is the reason I am uncertain of the bust size
